You can individually change the attributes linked to your phone numbers in the console or by submitting a bulk change request to Hiya Support.
Updating numbers individually
To manually edit a Branded Call phone number’s details in the console, navigate to the phone numbers page under the Branded Call section and select a phone number you wish to change.
You will see a phone number detail page below. Then click "EDIT DISPLAY AND SETTINGS" button.
Every phone number must include the following:
- Country code (select from list)
- Phone number
- Caller business name (maximum 32 characters)
Additional details may be provided, such as:
- City
- State (for US phone numbers only)
- Do not originate (only check this if zero outbound calls are made from this number)
- Caller image (i.e., a company logo)
- Call reason (maximum 40 characters)
Note: Hiya only accepts recognized cities for locations. Counties, communities, towns, townships, etc cannot be processed by our system.
Please make sure that the information you fill in meets our content guideline. Once you have made the desired changes, click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page. Changing a number’s attributes will move the phone number to a pending status and require revalidation. This usually takes 24 to 48 hours. You will be notified by email of any changes made to the status of your numbers.
Updating numbers in bulk
There are two ways to edit phone number attributes in bulk: manually within the console or by submitting a request to Hiya Support.
Manual bulk changes
To edit the attributes of more than one phone number in the console, navigate to the phone numbers page under the Branded Call section, use the checkboxes beside each phone number to select the numbers you wish to modify, and click "EDIT ATTRIBUTES" above the phone numbers table.
You will then see a pop-up window where you can change details for the selected phone numbers. Once you have made your edits, click “Update attributes” and the changes will be applied to all of the selected phone numbers.
Please make sure the provided values adhere to our content guidelines. Changes will be re-validated, which usually takes 24 to 48 hours. You will be notified by email of any changes made to the status of your numbers.
Requesting bulk changes through Hiya Support
If you wish to modify the attributes of many phone numbers at once, you can submit a bulk phone number change request. To submit it, navigate to the phone numbers page under the Branded Call section, click the "Add phone numbers" button near the top right, and then select the "Bulk upload" tab. You can download the Bulk Upload Template here. You can also edit a previously downloaded bulk file.
